Hey,

It’s me again. :) I’m looking for tutorials for Wordpress, because I’m finally going to learn it. I already got the “How to be a Rockstar Wordpress Designer” book from Envato, and I am in the process of reading it.

I realize there’s hundreds of “good” places such as NetTuts, etc. What I’m looking for though, is tutorials on how to do more out of the ordinary things like custom fields, etc that will allow me to control themes that aren’t completely blogs.

Also, I know ThemeForest has a blog with loads of tutorials on Wordpress so I’ll be sure to check that out as soon as I’m done with the book. Does anybody else know any good sources for helpful Wordpress tutorials?

Thanks.

* Nettuts (and the Plus service – I have a “WordPress Beginner to Master Series” up on there) * ThemeForest Blog (there’s a WordPress Video series up there) * WordPress Hacks * WpRecipes * CatsWhoCode * Smashing Magazine * Digging Into WordPress * WordPress Tavern * WP Engineer :)
Perfect. You’re the man, Dan. :)

Btw, just updated it a little with specific links to some good places to start on Nettuts and the TF Blog.

I know this post is old, but I preferred to post this here instead of creating a new thread.

AlexPascal, 8 months ago have passed since you made this thread, how has your progress been?
