if your preview is not a standard 590×300 size then make sure you name your html file as “index.html” not “index.htm”

Preloaders are a good place to start. I’ve started with Actionscript 2 months ago, my simple XML gallery is the first bigger thing that i actually finished. before that i was mostly fooling around with preloaders.
You have to start somewere, so no, they are not bad, just the non original ones
(and yes i have one of those :P)
