Hi I am having trouble to place my Vimeo videos via Slider Pro and being able to see it on mobile device with android.http://gotopoland.co.uk/cinematography/
your sample vimeo videos (by grzegorz jonkajtys) works just fine but on mines I can see only blue letters ADOBE FLASH PLAYER
Even if I copy and paste your embed code and change just the video id my video is not shown.
Do you know the reason?
Can you show me the link on which videos work and what android os do you have?
ANDROID 2.2.2 – HTC DESIREhttp://gotopoland.co.uk/cinematography/ See the first two slides /
First one is the sample which comes as a sample downloaded with sliderPro<iframe class=”video” src=”http://player.vimeo.com/video/3116167?api=1&badge=0&title=0&byline=0&portrait=0” frameborder=”0” height=”400” width=”700”></iframe>
Second slide has the same code as first one (but just different video number – mine video)<iframe class=”video” src=”http://player.vimeo.com/video/50688178?api=1&badge=0&title=0&byline=0&portrait=0” frameborder=”0” height=”400” width=”700”></iframe>
and first slide plays well but second got this message
ADOBE FLASH PLAYERor as on the front page: http://gotopoland.co.uk/
I have this message
Ouch! This video can’t be play with you current setup. Please switch to browser that provide native H.264 or install Adobe Flash Player.
I am not an author of this plugin, for this you should contact the author directly. I was wondering about vimeo because I have seen this type of behavior with vimeo on android before so I wanted to test this but I still havent got to this.
I have the answer from the author:
“You might need to enable the mobile version of the video from your vimeo account: Settings > Video file > Alternate versions > Make mobile versions of all my videos For more details please see this topic: http://vimeo.com/forums/topic:49948 Please note that the slider itself doesn’t have any influence in this issue. “
