Site Feature - promo

The CodeCanyon site has a current feature at the top -=it’s a simple horizonatl fram highlighting a 50% Credit on every PhotDune purchase.

Users can click it to get more details or hit the c”close” button to not be bothered during the session.

I’m looking for something similar for one of my sites – anyone know where I can find one in the marketplace?

That’s typically called a notification bar.

FYI the CodeCanyon notification bar is really nasty and would be a good way to annoy your users.

On my iPad it always seems to load after the rest of the site, meaning that as I click a link the page gets pushed down and I click the wrong thing.

I thought it was just me. I only view codecanyon on ipad, and i so want to smash that notification bar over someones head.

That and the bloody envato leaf thing on the side of the window, which covers breadcrumbs.
