Eucalypse is a non-profit coalition of photographers, models, makeup and hair stylists, wardrobe designers and other creative types ranging from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals.

We share resources to organise photoshoots and workshops with three specific goals:
  • create unique images
  • build meaningful creative networks
  • develop skills in our chosen fields

Our website is becoming our primary means of recruiting new members and promoting our upcoming events to prospective participants. It is created using Wordpress and some commercially purchased themes.

We are now looking at taking the website to the next level, including:
  • launching an e-zine with tutorials and self-help
  • image galleries curated and managed by participants
  • a user management component that enables participants to build a profile, including self-managed image galleries
  • integrated discussion forums
  • a booking and payment gateway for people to register/pay for workshops and shoots, and potentially access to content

We are seeking the services of a freelance web developer who has strong experience in customising Wordpress installations, with a specific task of progressively enhancing our website to include the planned features above.

Proven experience in adapting WP themes and implementing user profiles and payment/booking gateways is essential, and a firm understanding of how to do the rest is expected.

Expressions of interest should be sent to Ben Ryan at melbourne@eucalypse.com and include URLs for projects you have worked on. From there, we can discuss the needs of the project in more detail as well as costs and timelines.
