Well, I wouldn’t argue with Randy Orten :)

If you create a support ticket, as Nielsk said, make sure you tell them why you feel it doesn’t work in the same way that was described in the item info and you shouldn’t have a problem.

I’ve had to do this a couple of times and have never had a problem with support.

It can take up to a wekk for a reply, but usually it is quicker than that.

Yeh I just bought powerful exchange system and I’m having problems to install it, the vendor ask me to talk to the author but seems like he don’t really care, I had contact him over here, his page, his email, mafianet facebook, everywhere pretty much and not reply, I’ll probably ask my money back, I don’t have to be experiencing something like that, theres soo many other similar or better scripts out there…!

I submitted tickets to ask for my money back cuz this is so freaking stupid. The author is not freaking answering and Envato seems like don’t freaking care either, If they want to lose customers over this and have bad reputation for their site. This is what going to happen. I can take this further if they want me too for real. This is freakin frustrating.

If you believe the item is not as it is described then the only way to proceed is to request a refund from the support staff. Unfortunately these things do take time, but your question will be answered eventually.

However if you still wish to use the item and simply need assistance getting the item installed, then please do not ask envato support, they cannot help you fix the item, they can only provide refunds. If you emailed the item author for support please wait a while for a reply. Support is 100% optional and some authors simply do not provide it. If this is the case, please post your troubles here (eg: what are you trying to do, what doesn’t work, are you getting an error, etc..) and someone from the community may be able to help you get up and running.
