I’m going to throw this idea out to see what you all think of it. It seems like many of folks here have ideas, complaints, concerns, comments, etc regarding referrals (I have found dozens of threads that end up discussing the referral program and peoples’ frustration with aspects of it). So, what if we at least added some kind of analytics tool on our earnings page. It could be easily accessed by clicking the desired month in our referral spreadsheet, and show us where our referred visitors landed. Nothing more to begin with. Just a baby step, if you will.
I know this may not seem like much of a change at all, but I know many people have voiced their frustrations about not knowing which of their marketing/referral efforts are even working. I know that many people here have a ton of clicks over many months and no referrals to speak of. This new functionality will not solve that problem, but it could allow some insights into what efforts are more worth while than others. Thus giving those who are engaging in these efforts at least a little bit of information to work with and potentially improve their results.
This could be the first very small step in moving towards some changes that both the authors and Envato could agree upon, embrace and benefit from. We all want to see the network grow, see increased traffic, see increased sales, etc. And it has been discussed on many occasions the desire for those putting forth the effort to drive the extra traffic here to have a more consistent monetary return.
Thoughts?

It’s the Google Analytics, but that’s hooked into our site.

Thanks for the quick response, Lance! I do already use this feature, and am really looking forward to future versions.
But what I would like to see eventually is something that provides a more global view, if you will. See, if I was able to click on my current (or past) months in the referral spreadsheet on my earnings page to get a breakdown of referral clicks it would provide a much more concise experience. The system now only allows us to click through specific items of our own. But it does not in any way help us identify the efforts put forth to drive traffic to the marketplace or a fellow author’s item. Make sense? I am just trying to brainstorm some new ways for us to get past all the griping about the referral program in general, and believe that if we had some sort of analytics to work from we may be able to improve our results (and earnings) with little change form a Dev standpoint.
I’ve known about this for awhile, and I have a query – is there a way this page can remember who you are? I (personally) find it irritating grabbing my API key every single time I want to log into this page.
Not that I’m complaining about there being a way to see tracking !

Its curious, i’ve seen many authors here on forums that didn’t know the stats authors site. And it has been running for months. Maybe Envato should make another announce with this.
Quite useful tool, btw.

Author dashboard missing a valuable link.
Or Earnings page could be a better place to link the Analytic results.
Awesome!!! I know I sound over excited but I didn’t know about this at all.
+1 for another announcmnet because I clearly missed this first time round. I’ve been wanting this for SO LONG .
Thanks a million!
