Hello all,
I would like to know how i can do to protect a script (php, javascript) from piracy ? What do you use?
Thank you for your help, Fox
There is no true way to stopping it from been copied/ripped/cloned/nulled its just one of them things as the code as to be extracted in the browser it needs to be seen by the end user.
Best idea is make a great theme and then offer after support and how twos to only paid customers this site keeps a track of your customers I think so this should help a little.

You can with PHP , you would need to encrypt the code with something like IronCube or Zend Guard, but for Javascript it can’t be done.
Edit: Just to note, Envato does not allow the sale of encrypted code.
Develop a habit of sending DMCA ’s every week.

Once Google has indexed those links, just take some minutes to clean all of them with DMCAs. But as Mordauk said, it won’t change much things, I just sleep better once done

We’re having great success fighting it by providing extra features for verified licences (ie: automated updates). I’ve also seen great success in having a very prominent version number in the main graphics and item descriptions, and updating these as time goes on. People will be drawn towards new version 2.4 with extra features/fixes here on the marketplace, rather than downloading old buggy version 1.8 from a year ago.
There’s also talk of spreading your own broken items to these evil sites. Items that simply don’t work, half work or redirect to the real item purchase page after showing a nice message to the user.
Do you have a solution for verifying licenses?
