2 months back.
Since then, I have sent 3 emails from the contact form, but there has been no reply from him.
What to do ?
Contact Support and ask them to ask the owner to get in touch ?
I dont need a refund, but need my questions answered.

Support is not mandatory. You could hire a developer if you need something done.

Well, its about something, which the item description says, but doesnt do.
For custom, we can easily do it, without even asking the author or hiring someone, but I need things to work, which I read and bought.

Unfortunately, as Tean said, support is not mandatory.
Personally, I feel that authors should always provide support for their items, but some choose not to.

I also bought the facebook viral lottery app. I have installed it, but i can not see the admin tab there. I opened ticket in the support center but i got no reply.
Such a poor support!

If the file doesnt work as advertised and you cant get a response from the author, you should contact support.
