I’d like to know what’s going to happen with the “Price Adjustment” tool for Elite authors. Collis mentioned something better was in the works. Hope that something is still going to happen.

Cool info. But as a tip. Hire a professional designer too
To remake the dated design of the place. Just my 2 cents.
I want to underline what guitarjock already said: it is an amazing marketplace, both for customers and for the authors and I’m glad to be a part of these amazing times. Thank you for the info and best of luck with all the coming tasks and endeavours.

Transparency isn’t a thing you reveal at a boiling point, it’s a continuous dissemination of progress.
Totally agree that we can do a LOT better here. I’ll try to give such an update about once every 3 months which is the kind of time scale for the more substantial dev work that we do.
And if not me then the new Dev Manager.

Thanks, guys! It’s nice to see some of the behind the scenes progress lately. Really helps buyers and authors manage expectations. Obviously it’s no easy task maintaining such a large marketplace, so we all appreciate the work that’s going on over there!
I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on a few things for us though:
When the Elite pricing tool was axed, there was talk of something else in the works that would benefit Elite authors. Is this something in active development? For such a new and beneficial feature, it was removed rather abruptly and without explanation. Naturally, many of us are curious if there is something in the works.
Secondly, recently there was talk of the custom iframes being removed for a better solution. I was curious if this alternative solution would be in place before the iframes were disallowed?
Thanks again, Envato!

Hey Mike,
I’m not able to answer your first question but I can answer the second. The “iframe modification policy” won’t be “turned on” until we have an acceptable solution ready. As we have many other important things in the works, this one will have to take a back seat for awhile. Although I have a few ideas for the short term that may be very helpful for authors.
I hope that helps to clarify.
Its great that you shared your roadmap. First let me wish you good luck. The company I work with has gone through many of the same growth issues and separating code bases is a year long venture which leaves little time for any interface improvements. So I fully understand. Thank you again for being a great company and continuing to grow the community.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Can’t wait for the new search, it’s desperately needed for PhotoDune
Great to hear such updates
Thx for keep us informed!
