Lite version of code?

Hi, I’m just wondering if you are allowed to create a lite version of your codecanyon script and give it for free in other sites. Like a demo version with very little features that the original file in codecanyon. I will also add a link to the full file in the lite version.

Say I have a jquery plugin with 100s of features. Can I create a lite version with just 3 features and give it for free and link them to the full file in codecanyon?

Definitely ask support on that one as being an “exclusive author” doing something like that could make it so your exclusiveness.. well wouldn’t be so exclusive.

Probably depends on the item itself. Some cases it may be ok, others it may not. Create the lite version and then email it to support asking if it would be ok to give away.
