Hey creative people! how are you all doing? Hope you all are doing awesome!
I finally wrote a letter yesterday (after trying a couple of times) and realized how long it had been sence I had actually written.
Is the written language becoming dead?? If I only could teach my kids either typing or writing I would go with typing… lol… what do you guys think?

Yep, my handwriting is looking like some awkward font that no one would ever use on his computer, lol
This is becoming a big problem… I was writing a small note yesterday to paste on the refrigirator. I had to rewrite it 3 times so that the inscriptions were legible

Great post topic!!
Reminds me of the last time I wrote a hand letter…. into the second paragraph my hand was sore
Seriously, much easier to type, text, email or talk but much more meaningful if handwritten! Serious all most do these days with B-Cards etc. is sign their name or send an e-card haha!!
Oh times do change don’t they?

Wait… aren’t we writing right now? the paper disappeared, but not the language
Anyway, Wherever I go I almost always take a pen and paper to write down any ideas that may pop in mind. It’s alot more intuitive than using a computer to write down things quickly.
Later on I may organize the doodles on paper to actual excel sheets or pdfs.
But nothing beats pen+paper
...yet

I use MindjetMindmanager to organize notes taken the old fashion way!
You are right though, there is nothing like taken hand notes.. much quicker to capture concepts and fluid ideas!
The old fashioned pen and paper style is dying – even the way we write is changing, with texting we’ve developed a new shorthand. I tend to write everyday – I journal all my doodles and ideas and I have a prayer journal which is kind of overflowing at the moment. (But my handwriting is scruffy enough to make a teacher balk)
Luckily I have my iPhone & Things for on the go

You know I have found these http://www.moleskine.com/ to be the only notepads I use anymore… whether sketching or taking notes at a conference or whatever…. they are great and durable.
I usually get the cheaper smaller pack of 5 that come bundled together and as I fill them up they go on the bookshelf….
Hard to find good notebooks these days

use the very same brand
I never quite gave up on classical writing… although I would rather type anything in class on my trusty laptop (goes MUCH faster, and slightly tidier)
