I reinstalled, but the same problem.
I’ve not added anything to Chrome, as I like to use it as the average user would use it.

You forgot to mention whether you’re using a PC or a Mac, as well as specify what operating system your computer is running. Although it may make little difference, there is a fairly good chance for you to receive better assistance if you do so.
Chrome works well on my Mac under Lion 10.7.2. No big deal I guess, and since almost everyone else has no issues with it, if your Chrome installation is running on a Mac, then the problem might be related to the OS itself.
