Now i can say with all my conviction that ENVATO is a bad place to buy anything.I dont recommend this marketplace to anyone.

Don’t judge to all marketplaces please, there’s a lot of us who work hard every day and providing fair enough support to our customers.

I believe Envato is a good marketplace. They have good quality check and good policies. They have their terms and conditions made very clear, and they are rigorous to authors and buyers who will try to scam, bend regulations or go dark patterns (in broad sense of that term). Envato can’t predict every possible situation, or problem, bad authors or bad buyers.
If you believe you are somehow been affected by bad author or some strange behavior and you are entitled to refund, contact support, and if you have a case, you’ll probably get your satisfaction.
That is, this is all just – my opinion. ;)

If you have downloaded the item why are you so angry that it’s been deleted? You still have a copy, right?

Like the others said, if it doesn’t work, contact support for a refund.

You can’t expect them to act on something they have no knowledge of.

I would prefer to expect them to have knowledge. I have an author that doesn´t communicate and perhaps removed the plugin without notice and Envato doesn’t know ? They have to know by me? Would not be better if Envato would be checkin all of this issues and reporting back to buyers with an explanation? My last contact with envato was like these : deal with the author because you dont fill one of the criterias for refund. This was a plugin that the author gave up having in the market because he could not accomplish to resolve all the problems. Did i had a refund ? nope. Lost my money and got a faulty plugin.

I simply dont waist my time reporting to Envato to have the same result before. I dont trust Envato to solve this situation and i think they should implement a new policy regarding this issues. I’m not buying any plugin after this and i continue to expect you all to respect my opinion and freedom to express myself.

^ I guess if you mention the above message to the support, they may keep in mind about future policy revisions (on item deletion). The number of similar feedbacks obviously have more chance of attention. However the forum may not be the best place to convey the feedback as it is just for discussion and importantly the responses are not from staff relevant to the issue.

As anything and anywhere in life, chances are that you might get ripped off. It happens.

You seem to be a great buyer so the best thing to do is DO take the time to complain. Because that is what good buyers do. You just have to do it the right way, through Envato Support.

Complaints like yours is what improves our Marketplace. If all unhappy buyers just leave and the bad authors stay…. we are bound to sink with the ship.

As a self-entitled good author, I appologize for your bad experience, and hope you do not leave us. We are all working hard to make Envato a great place to find and purchase cool stuff.

I acknowledge your frustration and wish you can get a positive response from the support, thus getting your refund and diminishing your loss.

Take care and good luck, my friend!

Thanks VF for you comments. Maybe i’m misplaced. Sure i would not have the “feedback” with support like the one having here. R.M

It appears to me that you don’t know or don’t want to understand some simple facts on how this marketplace works.

Authors can delete their entire portfolio when they want with no explanation to anyone. Author are not required to answer or give support for the items. You can’t ask for this. You can’t purchase an item and expect to have support from the authors after that.

But off course, many authors do answer questions and offer some sort of post purchase support but is not a rule and is not something that you paid when you purchased the item. They also don’t do it only when “it’s in theyr interest…..” This is an insult against authors who respect the buyers and offer free support when required.

Many asked you to contact support, but from what you say you have already did this and they denied the refund. Is this true?
