i think my works isn’t quite nice or there is some problems (maybe internationalization musics) that buyers don’t buy my works ! i have 18 items in my audiojungle portfolio . these tracks sounds good at my opinion , but i’m very disappointed . i deserve more than it ! if this way continues on my items , maybe i would delete all these tracks and start a business outside of envato marketplaces ! how do you guys think ?
Why delete? Better cancel exclusivity and try in other places. Then you can check where you’re doing best and if you want you may be exclusive back
fxprosound saidwhere ? i think envato is the best marketplace on the network ! where can i sell my audio works ?

I don’t think that a problem in internationalisation. You live in the USA as well as the basic buyers. Sometimes it seems to me that all business in luck. I have a second project http://audiojungle.net/user/FelAnto which is written down with live tools and high quality, but nobody buys it.
The only thing of what I am assured on 100 %, this that that if you go to the purpose sooner or later you it reach. A question only in time. The main thing not to starve to death
You have 18 files and there are 43268 music files in Audiojungle. From a new comer it isn’t enough to get decent sales unless you get lucky. Consistent uploading of high quality stuff will get you sales and it means +100 tracks …
I listened to a few of your tracks and there’s definitely nothing wrong with them to say the least. Good sounds and very good playing!
I haven’t cracked the code myself yet either; I happened to be lucky with one song that started selling reasonably well, but why that didn’t happen with other ones that I consider to be as good or better I don’t understand either. Most did sell a few times, some a bit more, but it’s hard to tell why.
Oh, good grief. I don’t get that just because an author has music on AJ, they assume its going to be an immediate success story. In fact, their tone is as if they demand it or have somehow earned it. Unless you’re ‘TimmcMorris’ and a few others, this ISN ’T a get rich quick venture.
You must understand that the majority of the music here is geared toward corporate commercial work. Look at the top sales tracks at various audio sites, they will be an indication of what the market is for that site. Check out ‘Phil Larson’ here, five months, 58 tracks, 107 sales. He is writing music that is pertinent and relevant to AudioJungle, therefore creating a needed product. If you write something else, EXPECT slower sales.
Its like creating an 80 thousand dollar car and trying to sell it in India, where the majority of the people are riding scooters, then saying its “internationalization” (whatever that means). Simple marketing, my friend.
Honestly, “moccc”, perhaps some of your music is a bit mellow for this sight. Continue to create and upload, find the niche for yourself here. If not, like you said, “delete all these tracks and start a business outside of envato marketplaces”. Have fun competing with Envato in terms of them marketing on your behalf. There’s a reason why they have so members. Good luck, and cheers!

I understand what you’re saying. But even if there is a ‘certain format’ for succesful songs, I still don’t understand why some sell so very many of them and most only a moderate amount. Just because many of those songs quite the same. So apparently you have to be predictable, because the customer is looking for that, but then again apparently something makes the predictable stand out for those really good selling songs. It’s weird.
I even notice this within my own portfolio. I am a bit limited in style, being a guitarist mostly, so I don’t complain about not getting the REALLY big sales, but this one song happened to get some sales quite quickly, and it seems that just for that reason it got other sales as well, as opposed to many other ones in my portfolio.
I heard a song on Moccc’s portfolio in that same style that should do at least as well, for instance. As I said, I haven’t cracked the code myself yet either.
I don’t think there’s a “code”. Many buyers follow particular authors, and stick to them because the music made a difference in their project. So they go back for more with the next job. People like popular things, so they pile on. I hear complaints that AJ tends to market top authors and tracks. I believe its because it makes more money for them. And why not, every company pushes their best items first, then slowly brings in new products. Its because of these top authors and other best selling new authors, that invite buyers to look at other authors. “LGuitarB”, I follow your music, and I too tend to be a guitar driven track composer, keep at it, my friend. Your music is great. I believe in continually creating a large web, because the spider with the largest web, in the right location, will catch more flies. Cheers.
Cheer up! The sun will shine on your side of the fence. You have many splendid works especially at Cinematic \ Romantic, Sentimental \ Piano style. May be worth thinking about promoting your works. Useful link: http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/ways-to-promote-your-audiojungle-music/55643
Goodluck!
