THis is a super newbie question, but I have a website and I want a user to click a thumbnail and a popup window will display a video.

I know there is a lightbox plugin or something similar and I know vimeo already gives you the embed code but I dont know how to implement both. If any help or link to a tutorial on this will be much appreciated.
