Flyer rejected, looking for feedback

Hi everyone,

Just had a Christmas flyer rejected and am basically looking for some feedback as to why.

Here is the flyer:

Bright Flyer?

*Edit, before I go any further – is it me or does this look incredibly bright? lol

I’ve taken a SS of how it looks on my computer, within PS, note the guides (looks the same as the JPG preview before I upload it)

Normal Flyer?

To me that looks a world apart and if the reviewer saw the incredibly bright version, I can see why it was rejected, no question.

Unfortunatley the reviewer didn’t say exactly what was wrong with it, other than it wasn’t deemed good enough and as such I’m not sure.

Persuming the reviewer saw the “normal” version, this is where I get stuck. Outside of the glowing stars/baubles etc I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. N.B. I’m not a big fan of the glow, but it’s Christmas and well, things light up and glow^^
