I think it would be cool if Envato allowed authors to offer their scripts at reduced prices whenever they please. For instance, if I’ve had low sales for a script over a period of time I might want to lower the price by 25-50% for a week or so to generate some sales. You could also do sales for holidays, new releases, etc.

Authors could simply edit their product and choose a percentage reduction in a dropdown list and then they could simply return the pricing to its normal amount at a later date.

Envato could also provide a ‘Sales’ page where it shows all the sales for the day. If this were done I think a minimum sale percentage should be required to make it onto the page and that items be locked in their pricing for at least 24 hours.
