Extra features

Hello guys, Don’t think that this thread is a kind of self promotion, but i need your help.

I’ve submitted new item on CC called “Entertainment Portal”. But our reviewer rejected it as always with this reason:

“This item has a nice concept, but doesn’t feature the required functionality and features to be approved as a premium item. Most of the features included are pretty boilerplate and add little value to the user. The core portal specific functionality is at a minimum.”

My script has this features:

• Remote picture upload from given url
• Local picture upload
• Adding watermark on images
• *Searching by tags
• Facebook / Twitter sharing
• Like button for images
• Commenting on images
• Admin panel
• Multilanguage support

Could you give any suggestions on how can i improve my script ? Here is a link Entertainment Portal

Well, from what I can see (because I can’t login) its basic to say the least.

• The Facebook and Twitter share buttons only share the domain not the individual post.
• The theme is quite ugly.
• I type `Joke` in the search and nothing comes up, considering every post is called Joke X (X = number)
• Everything else i cant test because i dont have access, but my guess its its just all code easily available online.

• FB / TW buttons share individual posts
• Maybe i should change background ? Or any extra suggestions?
• Search bar performs searching by tags and post title only, since post title is empty system assigns post id to it’s title
• Please use this info to log in => u: admin / p: admin

So, got on, the Twitter and Facebook posts still dont work, http://cl.ly/HdwV but you should try get them as pop ups because they look bad full screen.

a better background would be better, but to get this accepted you may need a lot more that this. To be honest I dont know what because people could just download Wordpress and do a lot more than this does, unless you can find a way to make your product unique or put a spin on it I would give up on this project and think of something else to make.
