DivX vs. HTML5 in Chrome

Hi Folks,

I have a problem with DivX Webplugin and HTML5 . As soon as i active DivX WebPlugin in my Browsers the HTML5 Video Markup will be overwritten via the DivX Plugin. In FF it just brings the Video Player to freeze. I tested it on different PC’s, Mac in different versions of Browsers. DIfferent way but same issue. In Chrome the DivX Plugin playes the video but without the Control Buttons.

SInce a lot visitor has DivX ist seems to be a serious problem. Strange that the most HTML VideoPlayer here at CodeCanyon does not makes this failure in the Preview, but if i purchase the file, and upload it to any of my servers, they just start to do the same issue.

Does anyone know what could be the reason?

Okey, i found the solution. If you work via an iframe than DivX PLugin will not touch the markup at all.

Maybe it helps also for somebody, for me took a few hours to analyse the failure….
