Count all text on page plugin?

Hello, Is there a plugin or script that can count the characters/words, etc, on a pages body div, or just in a div without having a textarea? Just counting words on a page – is that possible – I’d pay someone to make this if it hasn’t been made. Something like “words on page: 435:

Really.. never mind, have you any experience with html / php / jquery etc ? are you looking for WP plugins ?
