Coffee Business Card

Hello everyone i’m new, and i recently uploaded that business card.

I don’t know what Graphicriver will say, but at the moment i would like to know some opinions. I know that i’m not so good maybe, but i’m here to learn and improve, so please comment about my card and give me some advices and if you think that it must be improved (i’m sure of that :P), tell me about it.

Only thing I can think is that they might say it’s too simple or some BS like that.

Forget this horrible background texture, this is not uniform and unprofessional.

Try to give an idea or a meaning, something special to your card. Of course your idea is about coffee, but it doesn’t fit with a simple inner shadow ‘pressed mode’. good luck

Nice idea, but I agree it needs some more refinements.

For example, the icons are not consistent: three of them are just outlined, while the one for the phone is a plain filled shape. Also, the inset shadow makes the text in the contact details a bit difficult to read and it doesn’t look very clean. Textures are also too strong. If it’s a card related to coffee, maybe instead of those small circles you could play with some coffee beans? Just an idea, but the card needs to have a better shaped concept. At the moment, if you take way the cup of coffee, there’s no other element to give a clue as to what this is about.

@Nyz, the background looks a little weak.

Also, maybe rethink the font. ‘Cafe Gusto’ is ok, but the information text would be far too small to see when printed. Business cards need to make instant-impact.
