I think this seriously needs to be looked into. At least for Elite authors.
I have started creating my own ways for tracking down Envato users who like to share…. It would be really nice if there was a way for authors to disallow certain accounts from purchasing that would be a huge feat.

No matter what methods you implement, no matter how much time, money and energy you put into trying to track down pirates, you won’t ever succeed. If you don’t like it, there’s the delete button on your items and the sign out button at the top.
Probably the worst idea I’ve ever read in this forum. If you know they pirate, report and their account will get shut down.

Don’t count on feature like this, it doesn’t even make sense when someone can just create another account for this and never use it again.
Funny thing is – in http://analytics.envato.com/ I can see that I had almost 40 visits from codecanyon.net/SOMEUSER/downloads/ and I’m wondering if it’s just a guy who check my item page daily or some “multi account” or just a simple bug

It’s a Bug there is no guy
Btw. Better option is to use referral system to drive more traffic to marketplaces and earn, then sharing our files for few $

Honestly, it’s not worth doing that. Although the feature would be awesome in cases of “angry” buyers. Meaning, if a buyer is angry, you deal with him politely, but it would be cool to be able to “disable purchases for this buyer”
