Marketplace Usability & Design Update 1.1

As we’ve previously announced, we’ve been hard at work on updating the usability and design of the Marketplaces and today we’re excited to announce our second release of changes which you should have seen roll out across the marketplaces in the last hour or so.

We’ve introduced tabs in different areas of navigation across the marketplaces (soon to be rolled out in the forums).

We feel the changes have streamlined the flow of navigation on item pages, profiles and other areas it has been deployed.

We’ve also improved the sign up process, making it (hopefully) easier for new authors and buyers to join us! The new sign up process will also remember what file a potential buyer was looking at before we whisked them away to sign up (which it didn’t do before).

We are working on ironing out a few kinks at the moment and any bugs you notice should be fixed shortly but let us know if you notice anything crazy looking!

Note that in the popular files page, the item title and sales number are overlapping.

The number of ratings detail is fine on the listings but for weekly popular files page, is that needed? For example it says “19 Sales, 445 ratings” which can be hard to understand for some buyers.

How can I get rid of left Envato panel. it overlap the web page and then it decrease visibility..I’m using 1024×768 screen solution and it is already most populer web solution standart. much people on the world don’t have 24’ LCD monitor..Please add an option for remove that left Envato panel to setting page.

I like the “number of times rated” feature you’ve added to files!

Can you also put that info on the author’s portfolio page too?

GRMPF Maybe someone else already complained about that before, but why did you change the main BG color ? We now have to change all out pictures which are not .png to match the new color / background

Other then that, could work on the design. Very sleek and clean

Man, I love this new design! The 3d effects in the header and the tabs in the profile rally rock!
