Advice from experienced authors

Hi everyone,

I’m new to Themeforest and I just got my first official and generic rejection. Since they gave me no details, I would really appreciate some feedback from more experienced authors. It is responsive WP e-commerce theme. Live demo is here

I have just gone through the rejection mail in attempt to figure out what exactly is wrong with the theme (code, design…) and it says that “it feels like freeby”. I think that might be the main complaint. I really need someones fresh look at this theme as I’m not sure where to start fixing it. I do have my “suspects” , things I know that can be better, but opinion from someone who is looking at it for the first time would be very helpful. Please help!

I think you need to change font, color of twitter and fb icons in header should fade in/fade out, text is not aligned…everywhere, bad choice for text color….menu under slider is kind of weird thing to do, check other themes and follow it’s interface, you spent too much of time making this theme unique and it looks like some new concept which is really bad for UX.

Thanx for reply. I’m having trouble getting feedback for this theme so I appreciate your help a lot! We definitely spent a lot of time make this theme unique, I thought that would be good thing. But I thought its main problem was that it is a bit dull. Which font do you think I should change, title or text, or both?
