Able to close our own threads

So, I was thinking lately, how about we be able to close our own threads, since we’re the ones who started it. For example, there might be times where someone asks for a co-worker, when this ones finds the person he was looking for, he just states the thread as closed so no one else waste their time applying. Not only that example, there are way more. I think it’d be great.

Bad idea i think, but if the forum had select dropdown next to discussion title, to choose:

Discussion or Question.

They could pick an answer , as solved etc. Like vanilla do.
