Dzinc,

I’m pretty sure i assigned the image before. I just tried again and this time i am positive I assigned it. I also modified the file description which also needs to be updated.

Thanks for helping, you’re a champ!

Thanks so much Dzinc,

Firstly i’m not 100% if its the right file. All i know is that the preview image and the file description are from the old file which had a soft reject. I have sent the new preview image and updated description twice to support but they haven’t managed to change it or confirm which file is actually being downloaded. This is the item http://graphicriver.net/item/bloody-horror-styles/2261100

and this is the ticket ID: YJO-831-65715

I really appreciate your help

Thanks.

I have tried to get this problem sorted and posting it in the forum is my last hope.

My dilemma is that a file I created a few months ago got soft rejected. I let it sit for a while before I had time to work on it. Eventually, it got accepted. The file was placed on the market places as the soft rejected file. The preview image, item description and possibly the main file are the old files which were initially not up to standard. The thumbnail is the only part of the which seems correct.

Anyways, I lodged a support inquiry. Four days later it apparently got passed on down the line to someone whom was more likely to be able to help. Another four after that they informed me that they would also pass it on to someone who was even more likely to be able to help me! (All I want is the rejected preview image and description change and for them to check that it’s the right file being downloaded!)

Anyways after waiting for a while I thought I’d try and update the preview image from the edit tab on the rejected item which was being displayed. Below is my latest reply

Unfortunately your submission Bloody Horror Styles isn’t quite ready for GraphicRiver. Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you: Hey! I can’t see any difference in the preview, description and thumbnail to the file that is already live. What are you trying to update? Thanks!

Apparently it’s not ready for Graphicriver, but for sale anyway? And can you see any differences the preview pages? Previously I always got adequate replies from reviewers and support but “Hey!”?

\\

I have never had any problems like this in the past. It just seems ridiculous to have to send three emails to support to fix such a simple problem which was the reviews mistake from the beginning? It seems like it gets passed from person to person and no one has a clue what to do?

Sorry I’m just frustrated as it took a long time to get the file accepted, and it’s taken even longer to get such a small problem fixed. Someone help me please.

I guess a few of these spin off sites will be having great months.
don’t get it… sorry its maybe the wine, would you explain me please before i can not even read?
Recently there has been a few sites similar to graphicriver start up. I’m sure some users will be uploading files there as they don’t have to wait as long. Hence those sites being busy.
Hi! Could you provide us links to these specific sites please? :)
No, he can’t. Its against the Forum rules. But you can use google or privat mails. Actually im not against Envato at all, i would not like that if the authors would go from here, but to be honest i also did my research already. And if they continue like this, it’s just matter of time when they gonna injure their reputation.

I’m a massive fan of all the Envato sites too, but it’s also nice to see a little bit of competition. Keeps them on their toes and gives people another option. That been said these other sites seem to be just starting out. Along way to go before they have reviewed 3,000,000 files!

It’s crazy, but i’m sure it works to some kind of degree. I think it just shows how desperate some people are. I saw a hot looking user the other day with her cleavage showing. She had one average file, 1 sale and 300+ followers!! There are a lot of better sites out there to chat to chicks if that’s what your after. :inlove:

I’m actually surprised the marketplaces lasted this long before it got over ran with files and the review staff couldn’t keep up. The queue of files must look never ending to the reviewers. How about they don’t accept new users who wish to contribute files? At least for the short term. If the review team can’t keep up now they should try and slow the traffic a little. How many artist / designers are required? 200,000? 500,000?? Cap it now, and top it up when it’s required and can be managed.
