I got the top-specced Air last year, and it has handled everything I’ve thrown at it (and I tend to be very demanding of my machines). I highly recommend it. Pair it with a 27” screen and you’ve got a great setup. Enjoy! In your opinion, this is just some advice I would like please.
I use transport , cs6 and sublime
So would an Air be sufficient and recommended for me to update site code , create stuff etc. Or should I go for MBP I like the Air, but have always wondered if it was just a non turbo version of its bigger brother. However I dont do gaming, or high end graphics. So would just like some advice.
Are they only in 13 inch screens? Do they have retina ? Or do ppl generally just hook the air up to Mac and use via a monitor, which I dont see any advantage, other than convenience.
Assuming by CS6 you mean Photoshop and/or Illustrator, then yes – I run those programs with a whole bunch of other programs at the same time, and the Air never misses a beat. If you’re streaming HD video + running heavy programs, the fan will start cranking and it gets hot, but it’s never really been an issue.
If you’re doing video rendering ( After Effects CS6 ) you should grab a Pro. I can render video on the Air, but having the processing power of the Pro would decrease the render time by a lot.
The Air comes in an 11” or 13”. I don’t think they’ve introduced a Retina Air yet. I like it because I like to be mobile and the 13” screen is great, but when I’m working at home I hook it up to a 27” monitor. For me it’s the best of both worlds.
Sounds to me like the 13” Air would suit your needs well. If you want the bigger screen or more processing power and budget isn’t a problem, get the Pro Retina. It’s thinner than the Pro (kind of in between the Pro and the Air) but with all the power.
Hope that’s useful

Law is law. Period. That’s not the point, just because you spot the same item on another mp it doesn’t mean the author is involved. I would never risk to damage anybody unless absolutely sure and without giving him/her a chance to explain first.
This once used to be a community where people helped each other but that spirit seems to be long gone nowadays.
Exactly.

kriskorn saidMore correct answer would be that no themes work on WordPress.com, except WordPress.com themes. All commercial themes must be installed on WP installation from WordPress.org on your own web server.
As I understand – You are a wordpress.com user. Themeforest themes do not work with wordpress.com. You need your own hosting and to download WordPress from wordpress.org.
I request a staff reply. Maybe they can help you more.
All the best,
Kris
Exactly – this is a restriction imposed by wordpress.com, not a limitation of ThemeForest themes.
Self-hosted WordPress (wordpress.org) is free, you just have to pay for hosting & a domain.

bitfade saidI totally agree with you, but I believe xtortionist mentioned earlier that he had already contacted the author, at which point he was able to determine that the author was responsible for the listings on both sites.
If the items was yours and you didn’t know, who would you prefer me to contact, you or support ?That’s the point. Designers won’t be able to determine it. It will be just a waste of time doing the investigation.
Designer’s job is to create something good, and if he see something wrong, ethically he should make a report to the officer. Officers’ job is to professionally investigate each case, with their investigating tool and their skills.
That’s how each elements of the community take part and grow. Time is gold.
I think you are missing bitfade’s point, which is that you can extend professional courtesy to fellow authors. In the case that there is a copyright infringement and the copyright owner isn’t aware of the infringing product on the other site, contacting the author first could save the author from having their product temporarily disabled, for example. You can always contact support afterwards if you judge it to be necessary.
In xtortionist’s case, after contacting the author, it became apparent that the author was knowingly distributing the product through another site, so he chose to contact support.
The actions/suggestions of both sound perfectly reasonable to me.

sevenspark saidYep, plus both items have zero sales – so how would a pirate be able to do this? They couldn’t, which is what made me raise my brow.

When you see something like this, please report it to Envato Support so they can handle the situation appropriately.
No, this is not allowed, but obviously Envato can’t police every marketplace out there, and there are always unethical individuals who won’t follow the rules. I’m not sure of the “punishment”, but Envato needs to be made aware of the situation before they can take any action
