I Think YES, and it work as follow:
It continue to be functional until replaced by the new credit card. in your Dashboard, you will notice the addition of a new card number in the drop-down bar under “Accounts” if the old card is not colored red. this mean it’s still fonctionnel, and you can switch between them until the expiration date of the old one.
When you activate your new card, you will be asked to transfer funds also.

OK my sales tab show 6,211 Sales ( the same of my profile). I think that the issue is with the top author page sales counter, but this page is updated every 24 hours, not immediately.
