For me, I find it difficult to move between coding and design quickly, so a full PSD is definitely my choice. Once all of my creative juice has been spent (in a manner of speaking), I can crank up my right brain in the coding editor.

Swapping between a graphics program and a code editor is just too disruptive to my workflow.

Hi team TF,

I’d really appreciate your feedback on the home page for a new theme that I’m working on. I’m aiming for the PSD category (super high standards, I know), and I’ll also be developing HTML / Wordpress pixels willing.

Please feel free to get pernickity with me – the more specific the feedback, the better.

In particular, I’m not 100% on a few things… what are your thoughts?

1. Perhaps the header is a touch sparse, especially around the logo? 2. A little concerned that the top third is just a blue overload (but maybe it just needs a new slider image). 3. The hierachy on the H2 tags (Featured Projects, etc.) is not quite right 4. White space around the service ‘discs’ is a little generous 5. So the large blue panel with the featured project image will be collapsed by default in the HTML version and will be expanded either by clicking the image in the carousel or hitting the ’+’ symbol. Just wondering if the collapsed state will make the page a little brief. Your thoughts?

Probably my biggest question, though: Is it unique enough for inclusion?

Thanks for your time… it’s very much appreciated.
