You wouldn’t believe how much constructive and useful input You can get from people who are not in Web industry.

Exactly! When I see them browsing my website for the first time I notice things like finding the navigation bar and stuff. For instance, I saw some relatives trying to click navigation bars that were displayed in screenshots on my template. They thought it was a part of my website and couldn’t recognize the portfolio part of it.

Woooho, my template has been approved. : D

Now I actually wanted to change the description slightly and add a live preview, is this possible? I initially thought the live preview would be created from the 1.html, 2.html etc files I had created.

I have a friend who is also into webdesign and we both criticize eachother. Once I’m pretty satisfied myself I usually show it to close family to ask about their opinions. After some edits I then post it online. I often get great feedback on forums like this one here at TF!

Aw, come on subigo2. Did you really think you could deposit $20 then buy something for $12 and then try to get the remaining $8 back again?

There’s a reason why you deposit fixed amounts of money, it’s so you are stimulated to buy more. It’s a common marketing strategy.

Your money can be spent on other marketplaces as well where things can go for as low as $1, enabling you to lower your balance right back to $0 if that’s what you want.

Good thing the Envato network is a lot stronger than your naggy newspost.

18 – Parttime freelancer / Designer & Developer – I registered myself as a freelancer without employees so I have to do everything myself. Been doing it professionally since not so long ago.

Designing websites however started seriously about 2/3 years back. : D

Well, I have tested IE8 for a while now and I can’t really tell it’s an improvement. However, there is some good news.

IE6 is dying out right now. I heard Microsoft is making service pack 3 an obliged update, which means IE6 will be replaced by IE7 eventually.

IE8 does some things slightly different than IE7 which is not a good thing. There is a fix however, with the following code you can make IE8 render like IE7 so you only need to fix your templates for IE7 !

<meta content="IE=7" http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" />

I have fixed a few things; http://www.illuminati-media.nl

- The background is now really a background and not causing a horizontal scrollbar anymore

- Created a dynamic portfolio

- Edited the contact page so it has a nice contact form that fits the template

Things I still need to do:

- Make up a good homepage

- Design a better submenu for the pages “diensten” and “aanpak”

Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
