Wow,
This is looking very robust and professional. I LOVE it. I am a bit confused on the User Roles. I created a new role “Clients” and tried to asign that role to a client I created “Bob Bohb” but when I logged in as Bob, I see he has more permissions then I intended.
It is a bit confusing about what gives what permission. Like: Can User Login” – This was also misleading, I thought it meant that user would be able to login as another user using a generated url like in Customer -> Contacts:
Auto Login Link right click – copy link [?]
Maybe renaming the option to something like “Activate Account” would be more accurate.
Will continue to look over the app and test it. It really does look awesome!!

Screenshot of the app I wrote to manage my own – just added that “envato” column to the dashboard – works quite well as a quick glance at how much I’m invoicing, receiving, spending, logging hours and earning on this marketplace.
(bogus values are due to demo mode)
With this information in the system it is possible to estimate your financial position X months in the future based on previous trends.
Planning to add it your CodeCanyon portfolio?
Please?

I received an email similar to this, though the email I got went through my company site:
Hello,I am a fellow web designer and I was looking for help for the newsletter script in codecanyon by david baker.
I read in the comments, that you’ve installed this script to your clients without any problem.
I am just wondering if you’re willing to listen to my problem in installing this software, and I will share with you good resources and many other scripts that I’ve paid for before if you help me out with david baker script.
I of course, never responded. I remember thinking at the time I got the email that this guy has a lot of nerve! I would never share paid scripts/themes, even if he offered me a whole library of Code Canyon/ThemeForest items. I mean the Newsletter system he refers to is what? 15 bucks? C’mon who cannot afford that??

Use Mint.com. It’s the single best money tracking system I’ve ever seen and used.
Thanks! I signed up this morning. Looks like just what I needed both for my Freelance business, and my personal life!
Thought I would respond to this one. As a purchaser of almost 100 scripts now, it really depends on what my use of the script will be. If it is for a client’s site, I want it to be 100% customizable – PSD files included.
If it is for me, or my site – I still want the option to customize it, but it is not as needed as much as for clients sites. Does that make sense?
I am always on the look out for things that make my Freelance life that much easier. PHP contact forms, Easy client friendly CMS back ends, etc.
I would love to see an accounting type PHP script make it up here, something that lets me track incoming and outgoing money, both to vendors and employees. MS Money, Quickbooks and such are just so overkill. I have been unsuccessful at finding anything that works for me. Just a thought…
Thanks!
Adding private communications (discussion forum/thread) per client would be nice. Also adding file manager (upload, create, rename, delete folders) and the ability to move files between folders is a must in my book. Maybe adding the ability to add notes to uploaded project files etc…
Just some thoughts off my head.
Good luck!
I am in need of a few Icon packs, and there are lots here to choose from that are perfect for my client, but I need them in either EPS or SVG . Why do authors not include these files types with their packs?
PNG is great, but just having PNG files included STOPS me from buying those Icon/Graphic packs.
Very frustrating.
I did not see that either, until after I submitted a support ticket. Just goes to show that I should always check the forums before jumping the gun.
