Go for a separate version, when the javascript takes an important part, it should be in the JS category (and I guess that it would be rejected in the CSS section for that reason).

Additionnally, you could face a rejection in the JS category aswell if you submit something “too simple” (I experienced it). It looks like there’s place only for items that are either complete jquery scripts / plugins OR 100% CSS. But a CSS element improved with javascript doesn’t fit anywhere…

I’m using this start button (free) and I’ve configured Windows to automatically log in so I’m directly on the desktop a few seconds after starting the computer. To put it simple, my experience of W8 is very close to W7 but twice faster. I don’t use any of the new features, I just don’t feel like getting into them.

Is your “Item notifications” option checked in your settings ?
